Cobra Blood Hangover is a super-enthusiastic rock record from the road-weary International Playboys. Cut after cut is full-throttle, guitar-hammering punk with a healthy sense of humor. The music is pretty good, with pedal-to-the-metal licks and incomprehensible lyrics (which I�m always a fan of), but this disc probably inadvertently exposes some shortcomings from the band. Obviously they are a live act, and capturing them on any sort of static medium is not fair. But the record is at least good enough to keep me listening to it for a few days. Lance Looper
